Before You Decide
As with any unexpected or crisis situation, you may be facing difficult choices. Informed choice is always the best choice but you need all of the information available in order to make an informed decision. We can help.
First you need to know if you really are pregnant. We can provide you with a free pregnancy test, but a positive test is only part of the answer. You will need to have the test confirmed and an ultrasound can do that for you. We will provide you with a free limited obstetrical ultrasound to determine if the pregnancy is viable (is there a heart beat and is the baby in the uterus?). This is extremely important information for you to have no matter what decision you are considering. Statistics show that 25%-30% of pregnancies can end in miscarriage.1 If a miscarriage is likely then you won't need to expose yourself to the expense and risks associated with abortion. Abortion is a medical prodedure with possible risks physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
The type of abortion you may undergo depends on what stage (how many weeks) of the pregnancy you are in. An ultrasound can tell you how many weeks you are.
Call or stop by Care Net for more information, a pregnancy test and an ultrasound.
